Storage Policy
Package storage and uncollected parcel terms made clear.
This page explains the storage window, daily charges, release conditions, customer reminders, and what happens when a package remains unclaimed for too long.
Customer reminders
Customers may be reminded by phone call, text message, or WhatsApp if a package remains uncollected.
Release condition
Any storage charges must be paid before the package is released.
Storage fees
Effective 16/03/2026. These charges apply after the standard 7-day holding period.
Day 1-7
No storage fee
Collect or schedule delivery within the standard holding period.
Day 8-14
JMD 300 per day
Storage charges begin after the 7-day holding window.
Day 15-21
JMD 500 per day
Applies when the package continues to remain uncollected.
After 21 days
JMD 1,000 per day
Long-hold storage rate until collection or next action.
Abandoned packages
Packages that remain unclaimed for 30 days or more may be considered abandoned.
- - The package may be returned to the sender.
- - The package may be disposed of if the sender cannot be contacted.
- - Outstanding storage or delivery costs may be recovered before release.
Important note
Fast Choice Courier Limited will take reasonable care in storing packages, but the company is not responsible for damages resulting from extended storage beyond the standard holding period.
